I have read The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated(affiliate) by Tim Ferris twice now. Each time I am inspired to create my own muses. I have been at work on several ideas for some time now. I have already escaped the office and work full time remotely. My next goal is to find some automated income streams from products I create.

In my search for implementation tips and tricks I am always looking out for more ideas on how to best implement and test out new muse ideas. I have used wordpress, multiple plugins, google adsense and other tools to create websites and keyword testing campaigns.

The latest tool I have found but have yet to see is from muselife.com and is their new product M6 System. They have a 6-step approach that is detailed on their M6 blog about what this new tool will do. Bottom line is they will help you create, test and implement your muse in an automated fashion.

I signed up for the private beta but I haven’t seen an invite yet. I look forward to seeing if this tool will take off and what it really is all about. If I get in I will make sure to share my experiences with my readers and let you know if it will be worth the price they eventually decide to charge.

Personal Branding and Business Development Books

This past weekend I picked up the book, Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuk. It was the book I went to the store for. While I was there I saw a copy of Seth Godin’s book ‘Free Prize Inside: The Next Big Marketing Idea’ so I picked that up too.

So far in just 24 hours I have nearly completed Crush It. It is quite a different read than my other business development favorite The 4 Hour Work Week. I should have some new posts in the next week based on my reading in these books.

Also if you have read Crush It! then you might also expect me to look into some new personal branding ideas. This could mean that some of the sites in my personal network could see some changes in the upcoming weeks. Keep an eye on Tonka Park and The Red Bird Life.

I look forward to finishing these books and laying out a plan for the next 6, 9 or 12 months for my personal brand and my attempt to break out with a great new niche company. The ideas are running through my head as I type this and I even have a new client that some of these ideas might work great.

If you have read Tim Ferris’ 4 Hour Work Week in the past 2 years you are likely itching with ideas to put your income on autopilot. I have read portions of the book on multiple occasions trying to keep the inspiration going. I have portions of the concepts in place and am always looking for more ways to implement the new rich life Tim writes about.

The tools for your muse

Tim mentions many great tools to get your muse up and running. At Tonka Park we use many of this such as wordpress, wufoo, skype, google adwords and analytics and more that he doesn’t mention. I feel that we have a good handle on these tools and have made them work for different projects.
